NNPC/Seplat Scholarship 2026: How to Apply for the NNPC/SEPLAT JV National Undergraduate Scholarship

The NNPC/SEPLAT Joint Venture has announced the commencement of the 2026 National Undergraduate Scholarship Programme for students in Nigeria.

The scholarship is open to eligible undergraduate students studying in Federal and State Universities across the country. This initiative is part of Seplat Energy’s Corporate Social Investment programme aimed at supporting education and strengthening human capacity development in Nigeria.

The application portal will be open from 23 February to 13 March 2026.

About the NNPC/SEPLAT JV Undergraduate Scholarship

The NNPC/SEPLAT JV Scholarship is designed to provide annual financial grants to deserving students to support them in completing their degree programmes.

The scheme focuses on promoting academic excellence and easing the financial burden on qualified undergraduates studying in approved courses.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the NNPC Seplat Scholarship 2026, applicants must:

• Be in their second year of study or above

• Have a minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a 5.0 scale or its equivalent

• Possess at least five O Level credits including English Language and Mathematics

• Obtain the required O Level credits in one sitting

Only students of Federal and State Universities in Nigeria are eligible to apply.

The scholarship is open only to students studying the following disciplines:

• Accountancy

• Agriculture

• Architecture

• Business Administration

• Chemical Engineering

• Civil Engineering

• Computer Engineering or Computer Science

• Economics

• Electrical or Electronic Engineering

• Environmental Studies

• Geology

• Geophysics

• Law

• Mass Communication

• Mechanical Engineering

• Medicine

• Metallurgical Engineering

• Ophthalmology or Optometry

• Petroleum Engineering

Applicants outside these courses are not eligible.

Closing Date: 13 March 2026
