Nigerian Navy Shortlist for NNBTS interview: The Nigerian Navy (NN) has officially released the list of successful candidates shortlisted for the Nigerian Navy Basic Training School (NNBTS) Batch 38 recruitment exercise.

Candidates who participated in the NNBTS Batch 38 Recruitment Examination held on 29 November 2025 can now check their names on the official Nigerian Navy recruitment portal. Shortlisted candidates have been invited to attend the Batch 38 interview and screening exercise, which will take place between January and February 2026.

This announcement replaces earlier recruitment updates and applies strictly to Batch 38 candidates. Only applicants whose names appear on the official Nigerian Navy website are considered successful and eligible for the next stage of the recruitment process.

According to the Nigerian Navy, the interview exercise will be conducted concurrently at two locations, based on candidates’ geopolitical zones.

Candidates are advised to follow the steps below to check the Nigerian Navy shortlist:

1. Visit the official Nigerian Navy recruitment portal https://www.joinnigeriannavy.navy.mil.ng

2. Navigate to the section for NNBTS Batch 38 Shortlisted Candidates

3. Download or view the list of successful candidates

4. Search for your name using your application details

Only candidates whose names appear on the portal are invited for the interview and screening exercise.

Nigerian Navy Batch 38 Interview Date

The Nigerian Navy NNBTS Batch 38 interview will hold from 10 January 2026 to 21 February 2026.

The interview schedule is organised by geopolitical zones, and candidates must attend strictly within the dates assigned to their zone.

The interview will be conducted at the following centres:

• Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) Old Site, Kaduna State

• Nigerian Navy Basic Training School (NNBTS), Onne, Rivers State

Candidates are required to attend the venue assigned to their geopolitical zone.

• Attendance is mandatory for all shortlisted candidates

• Candidates must report only on their assigned dates

• Late arrival or attendance outside assigned schedules may lead to disqualification
