What Is the NDE Renewed Hope Employment Initiative?

The RHEI Phase 2 is designed to equip Nigerians aged 18 to 45 with technical, vocational, digital, and entrepreneurial skills across several sectors. It promotes job creation and self-reliance through practical training and support.

NDE Available Training Programs

Participants can choose from the following major programs:

1. Vocational Skills Development (VSD):
   Quick skills in soap making, catering, beadwork, electricals, tailoring, etc.
2. Digital Skills Training:
   Basics of AI, cloud computing, and digital marketing.
3. Rural Employment Promotion (REP):
   Focus on agriculture and rural industries.
4. Small Scale Enterprises (SSE):
   Business development and entrepreneurship.
5. Special Public Works (SPW):
   Public sector-focused skills and employment.

Training also includes:

• Community-based programs
• Mobile “School-on-Wheels” for rural areas
• Inclusive training for people with disabilities

How to Apply for the NDE Renewed Hope Employment Initiative

Step 1:

Go to the official portal: www.nderegistrationportal.ng

Step 2:

Click “Apply Now” and create an account using your:

• Full Name
• Email Address
• Password
• Account Type

Check your email for login details.

Step 3:

Log in to your dashboard and start your application.

Step 4:

Click “Apply for Programme”
Fill in personal details including:

• NIN
• Full Name
• Date of Birth
• State & LGA
• Email & Phone Number
• Gender and Marital Status

Step 5:

Choose a program and corresponding training scheme.

Step 6:

Upload required documents:

• Passport photograph
• Valid ID (NIN, Voter’s Card, etc.)

Step 7:

Review your application and submit.

NDE Registration Timeline:

• Application Period: July 28 – August 11, 2025
