CDCFIB Physical Screening Date for Recruitment: The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has officially announced that plans are ongoing towards moving to the next stage of its recruitment exercise, which involves physical screening and document verification.
CDCFIB Announces Physical Screening
In an important update dated 27th November 2025, the Office of the Secretary of the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board informed the general public that the recruitment exercise is progressing to its next stage.
The announcement, signed by Maj Gen (Rtd) AM Jibril, Secretary to the Board, confirms that successful applicants will proceed to physical screening and document verification across all states of the federation.
Who Qualifies for CDCFIB Physical Screening
According to the Board, applicants who performed well in the previous stage have been shortlisted on merit. These shortlisted candidates are now eligible to proceed to the physical screening and document verification stage.
The Board emphasized that the selection process was conducted in line with Federal Character principle as well as the needs of each of the Services under CDCFIB.
CDCFIB Physical Screening Dates 2025
Venue Selection Period: Monday, 1st December to Wednesday, 3rd December 2025
Physical Screening Period: Monday, 8th December to Friday, 12th December 2025
Screening Locations: Across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT)
The screening exercise will hold over a five-day period, providing adequate time to accommodate shortlisted candidates across all locations nationwide.
How to Select Your CDCFIB Screening Venue and Date
Shortlisted applicants are required to visit the Board’s official recruitment portal to select their preferred screening venue and date.
Steps to Select Screening Venue
Step 1: Visit the official CDCFIB recruitment portal at recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng
Step 2: Access the portal between Monday, 1st December and Wednesday, 3rd December 2025
Step 3: Log in to your candidate profile using your registration details
Step 4: Select your preferred screening venue from available locations across the 36 states and FCT
Step 5: Select your preferred screening date from the available dates between 8th and 12th December 2025
Step 6: Confirm your selection
The portal will only be open for venue and date selection from Monday, 1st December to Wednesday, 3rd December 2025. Candidates must complete this process within the three-day window.

Shortlisted candidates have only three days to access the portal and make their venue and date selections for the physical screening exercise.
The CDCFIB has confirmed that the shortlisting and selection process adhered to established federal guidelines and service requirements. The next stage of the CDCFIB recruitment exercise includes both physical screening and document verification.
Shortlisted candidates proceeding to Stage 4 will undergo:
Physical Screening: Assessment of physical fitness and suitability for paramilitary service
Document Verification: Verification of credentials and certificates submitted during application
