CDCFIB CBT Result for Recruitment: Why Many Candidates Didn’t See Their Scores Immediately After the Exam

The Computer-Based Test (CBT) for the ongoing Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) recruitment has entered its final phase, yet one major concern among applicants is the inconsistency in result display after submitting the test. While some candidates saw their results instantly, the majority did not receive any score at the end of the assessment.CDCFIB CBT Results for recruitment exam

Day 1 Experience: Results Displayed Instantly

When the CDCFIB CBT commenced, many early candidates reported that their scores were displayed immediately after clicking the submit button. This indicated that the system was originally configured to show instant results upon completion.

Several screenshots shared online confirmed that applicants who wrote on Day 1 or very early on Day 2 could clearly view their total score before exiting the test interface.

What Changed After Day 2 and Day 3?

As the exam progressed, a new pattern emerged:

  • Most candidates who wrote from Day 2 onward did not see their scores.

  • The test submitted successfully, but the results page appeared blank.

  • Only a very small number of applicants continued to see instant results, but this became increasingly rare.

This shift created confusion, especially for candidates who expected instant feedback like the first batch.

Why Many Candidates Didn’t See Their CDCFIB CBT Result

While CDCFIB has not released an official statement yet, there are three likely reasons based on standard recruitment testing practices:

1. System Configuration Was Adjusted Midway

It is common for exam bodies to modify their settings after initial testing.
If results were showing publicly earlier, CDCFIB may have decided to disable instant scoring to reduce technical issues or prevent score sharing.

2. Score Validation Before Release

Some agencies prefer to manually validate results from the backend to ensure:

  • No duplicate submissions

  • No proctoring violations

  • No technical disruptions

Turning off instant result display allows them to review results more carefully.

3. High Traffic and System Overload

As more candidates logged in, the server load may have forced the result-display module to shut down automatically.
This happens often in large nationwide CBTs.

Does Not Seeing Your Result Mean You Failed?

No. The absence of an immediate score does NOT affect your chances. Once you clicked “Submit,” your exam was received and recorded in the system. Candidates who saw or didn’t see their score are evaluated the same way.

When Will CDCFIB Release the Final CBT Results?

  1. The exam officially ends

  2. Results are processed and verified

  3. The shortlist for the next stage is ready
