SEPLAT Energy Applied Technologies Program 2026 Opens for ND Holders | How to Apply

SEPLAT Energy Producing Nigeria Unlimited (SEPNU) has announced the commencement of applications for its Applied Technologies Program 2026, a structured technical training initiative designed for young Nigerians with National Diploma (ND) qualifications.

The programme is run in partnership with the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) and offers participants classroom-based and hands-on practical training in applied engineering and energy-related technologies.

About the SEPLAT Applied Technologies Program

The SEPLAT Applied Technologies Program is a long-term technical development programme that runs for approximately 23 months. It is aimed at preparing young Nigerians for technical careers within the energy and engineering sector.

Upon successful completion, participants will receive:

• A SEPLAT certificate of completion

• A City & Guilds certificate in Applied Engineering Technology (specific discipline)

The programme focuses on building technical competence, independent thinking, and real-world problem-solving skills within a structured learning environment.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for the SEPLAT Applied Technologies Program 2026, applicants must:

• Be Nigerian

• Hold a National Diploma (ND) with at least Upper Credit

• Have graduated not earlier than 2023

• Possess an ND in any of the following disciplines:

  • Mechanical Engineering Technology

  • Electrical / Electronic Engineering Technology

  • Chemical Engineering Technology

  • Petroleum Engineering Technology

Important: Applicants with higher qualifications (HND or BSc) will not be considered.

Duration of the Program

• Programme Length: Approximately 23 months

• Training includes both classroom instruction and practical, hands-on experience
