LAPO Microfinance Bank is currently recruiting a qualified and results-driven Project Manager to join its team in 2026. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing projects from initiation to completion. The role requires close collaboration with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with LAPO’s strategic objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

Define project objectives, scope, roles, and responsibilities

Plan and manage project resources, including allocation and availability

Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control

Prepare detailed project plans outlining milestones, activities, and timelines

Coordinate and manage project execution according to approved plans

Track and monitor project progress and provide regular status reports

Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget where necessary

Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies

Ensure effective communication with project owners and stakeholders

Deliver projects that meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations
Job Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management, or a related field
Professional Qualification

Certification in Project Management (such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent)
Experience

Proven experience managing IT-related projects in a reputable organization

Relevant project management experience will be an added advantage
