CDCFIB Federal Fire Service Recruitment 2025: The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDFCIB) has opened applications for internal and external candidates to fill mid-management positions in the Federal Fire Service (FFS). The recruitment covers several CONPASS ranks and is open to eligible officers currently employed in Federal, State, or Local Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies.

CDFCIB is recruiting into the following mid-level positions:

Deputy Controller of Fire (DCF), CONPASS 14

Assistant Controller of Fire, CONPASS 13

Chief Superintendent of Fire, CONPASS 12

Superintendent of Fire, CONPASS 11

Deputy Superintendent of Fire, CONPASS 10
NOTE: Applicants are allowed to apply for only one position. Submitting multiple applications will lead to automatic disqualification.
Statutory Requirements for Federal Fire Service Mid-Management Recruitment
To be eligible, all applicants must meet the statutory conditions below:

Applicant must be a current employee of a Federal, State or Local Government Ministry, Department or Agency (MDA).

Minimum height requirement is 1.65 metres for males and 1.60 metres for females.

Applicant must be physically and mentally fit.
-
Application must be sent directly to the Secretary to the Board through the official email provided.

Applicant must possess a valid Letter of Identification from their Local Government of Origin.

Applicant must provide evidence of Confirmation of Appointment.

Submission of three years APER/PMS reports where applicable.
-
Submission of Certified True Copy (CTC) of Record of Service.
-
Applicant must not have any criminal record.
-
Submission of letter(s) of previous appointment(s).
-
Applicant must possess a medical certificate of fitness issued by a government-approved hospital.

Applicant must be free from financial embarrassment.
-
Personnel of the paramilitary services are not eligible to apply.
