TVET Attendance Records: How to Check, Verify and Avoid Payment Issues

How to check TVET Attendance Records: The Federal Ministry of Education (FME) has commenced the display of attendance records for beneficiaries of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) initiative. Attendance details are now visible on each trainee’s dashboard, making it important for all beneficiaries to log in and review their records. How to check TVET Attendance Records

According to the Ministry, attendance monitoring is a key requirement for certification and payment under the TVET programme. Beneficiaries are therefore advised to check their dashboard regularly to ensure their participation is correctly captured.

TVET Attendance Now Visible on Beneficiaries Dashboard

The Ministry has confirmed that attendance data is being uploaded to the TVET portal and reflected on the Beneficiaries Dashboard. Trainees can now view their attendance status and percentage directly on the platform.

Attendance records are captured using biometric verification, meaning only beneficiaries who properly record their attendance are reflected on the system. This update is part of efforts to improve transparency and proper monitoring of the programme.

Minimum Attendance Requirement for Payment

The Federal Ministry of Education has stated that only trainees with at least 65 percent attendance will be eligible for payment. This makes checking your attendance record very important, as payment decisions will be based strictly on the data shown on the dashboard.

Beneficiaries are advised to confirm that their attendance percentage accurately reflects their actual participation.

What to Do If Your Attendance Shows “No Data”

Some TVET trainees have reported seeing “No Data” under their attendance section, despite attending all required sessions since November. The Ministry has acknowledged this issue and explained that attendance data is still being uploaded in phases.

Affected beneficiaries are advised to remain patient and continue checking their dashboard, as records are being updated gradually.

Next Steps for TVET Beneficiaries

To avoid issues with certification or payment, all beneficiaries should take the following steps immediately:

  • Log in to your TVET dashboard and verify your attendance status

  • Confirm that your attendance percentage reflects your actual participation

  • Review your personal details to ensure all information is correct

  • Report any discrepancies or missing data through the appropriate Ministry channels

Keeping your dashboard updated is essential to remain eligible for current and future benefits under the TVET programme.
