The Nasarawa State Universal Basic Education Board (NSUBEB) has announced the 2026 recruitment of rural teachers for primary and junior secondary schools across the state.
This recruitment is aimed at improving access to quality education in rural communities by engaging qualified and committed teachers.
About NSUBEB Recruitment 2026
NSUBEB is recruiting teachers to be deployed across 1,409 public schools in all 13 Local Government Areas of Nasarawa State.
Applicants will be required to select a school close to their village during the application process and must be willing to work in rural areas.

NSUBEB Recruitment Requirements 2026
To be eligible, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must possess any of the following qualifications:
- NCE (Nigeria Certificate in Education)
- B.Sc (Hons) Education
- B.A (Hons) Education
- Must be registered with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN)
- Must have a strong interest in teaching in rural communities

- Academic certificates
- TRCN certificate
- Valid means of identification
- Passport photograph
Screening Process
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to take a Computer-Based Test (CBT) at designated centres.
Only candidates who pass the screening stage will proceed to the next phase of the recruitment process.
